Wakeup Call, for you

By Carrie Spry

Unconscious living is how I could sum up most of my life. I felt out of control, my life was running itself. Decisions just make themselves, before I can actually think about them. How in the world did I end up in this situation? My life feels like one long fuzzy dream. The only thing I know for sure is this moment right now. I mean, I do have memories, but how can I be sure they were real?

I came to a realization. If I really wanted to be happy, I would have to begin to make conscious decisions. Before, there were mostly pre-conditioned answers that would just spout out of my mouth, often without a thought. When I need to make a decision, I would like to consciously think about it, be there in the moment, and base my decisions on that.

If you feel how I felt, its time for you to wake up and take control of your life. There is a world wide awakening right now. We are on the cusp of a "New Earth" so to speak. Have you read Eckhart Tolle's Book "A New Earth"? Or joined on Oprah's web casts about it? If not, you don't know what you are missing. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the truth is, I feel like I have know the information all along, but that is has just come to my attention.

Living consciously is perhaps one of the most positive changes you can do for yourself. Keep an open mind, stretch it to it's limits. Some good movies to help are "The Secret" and "Zeitgeist." If this is what our future has in store for us, I am getting more and more excited by the day.

We are on the brink of a global shift. We are no longer looking to outside influences to tell us what to think. We are becoming more independent and searching for our own truth. Fortunately, this is the 21st century and we are not likely to be killed because of it. We now have the freedom to believe what we want to believe. Many are comfortable with views that are constant and never changing. But they are beginning to become a minority. We need to wake up and make our own decisions, not what we were programmed to say from birth.
